Conceived as a series of portraits of a sort; of friends, family, and individuals of note, these one-of-a-kind prints of one-of-a-kind prints are created freehand from a book of actual fingerprints collected by the artist. These monotypes investigate aesthetic concerns (first and foremost) but also inevitably acknowledge the personalities of the people behind the prints.
